Lapostolle Residence is located in the Central part of Chile, in the middle of the wine country in the award winning Colchagua Valley. Chile has a mild climate during all four seasons of the year, each one possesses its own charm and distinctive beauty.

Right next to the Residence is the Clos Apalta Winery, nestled in a unique landscape: the cordons of the Chilean Coastal Cordillera. More than 650 hectares are on hand for your personal exploration, the hills are covered with native wild vegetation, offering extraordinary views of the Apalta vineyards and Chilean by Birth the surrounding mountains.

Lapostolle was founded by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet in 1994.

Hotel Facilities
The Main House of the Lapostolle Residence is where the guests will be able to have candle lite dinners or delight in sipping one of our famous Grand Marnier Sours while meeting other guests by the fire.

We also offer meeting and tasting rooms with extraordinary views of the Apalta vineyards to host a meeting or private event while contemplating the nature below and enjoying our wines.

Different terraces and decks during spring and summer create different atmospheres. Relax and read a good book, enjoy a comfortable siesta in a chaise lounge and finish with lunch on the terrace or perhaps a barbecue by the pool, all scheduled for you at your desire.

Wine Interest & Activities
The Marnier Lapostolle family, creator of Grand Marnier, the famed French Liqueur, founded Casa Lapostolle winery in 1994. Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, Chairwoman of Casa Lapostolle, led the design and creation. She recruited two French enologists, world-renowned winemaker Michel Rolland and on-site winemaker Michel Friou. Together they oversee all aspects of the winery from vineyard management, harvesting, vinification and blending for all the wines in the portfolio.

The goal of Casa Lapostolle is to produce world-class wines. Strict adherence to traditional French winemaking techniques, combined with state-of-the-art facilities and the superb Chilean soil and climate, have led to highly praised wines of the greatest character.

Cooking Classes: Our chef opens the doors and invites you to discover how to pair the natural Chileans flavors with the wines of Lapostolle, using the local products from our organic vegetable and herb gardens, as well as from the local fresh markets in the area.

Herbs Garden: Taste the flavors from our organic vegetable and herb gardens that can be picked by our guests to add a personal touch to the meals our chefs create for you.

The swimming pool: offers a quiet environment and is designed for a relaxed enjoyment of the water in an infinity pool. There is a wide terrace with comfortable chaise lounges.

Lapostolle Residence is located in the Central part of Chile, in the middle of the wine country in the award winning Colchagua Valley. The closest city from the winery is Santa Cruz.

From Santiago, take Highway “Ruta 5” South. Just after San Fernando Town, Exit in “Carretera del Vino” to “Santa Cruz”. Drive 36 kilometers towards the coast, you will pass Lapostolle Winery at your right. Continue 1 km. and take right towards “Apalta”. Cross the Tinguiririca river and drive for another 4 km, Clos Apalta winery will be at your left.
