Wine Info

Abruzzo is located in central eastern Italy, with Le Marche to the north, Lazio to the west and Molise to the south. Today, this region is producing over 42 million cases of wine in a year which makes it the 5th most productive region in the country. Abruzzo is home to one DOCG – Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane – and three DOC wine designations. The red and Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and the white wine appellation Trebbiano d'Abruzzo are the most notable, followed by the lesser-known Controguerra.
