Salta Wine Tourism
Salta is a breath-taking, mountainous wine region in the north of Argentina, considered part of the larger region known simply as the North-West. Many of its vineyards are planted at high altitudes in the mountains and foothills. The town of Cafayate, in the southwest of the province, constitutes the center of reference of the vitiviniculture of the North, standing out for the excellent quality and great varietal character of its wines.
