Visiting Casa Marín vineyards located in Lo Abarca is an experience in itself – the road between the coast and mountain range is absolutely spectacular. The winery is located among rolling hills, in a picturesque town that was once only known for its romaine lettuce. The winery offers many possibilities for wine tourists, from a short visit to a longer stay, getting to know more about how the most awarded wine in Chile and around the world is made. You can take a private guided tour around the winery, take advantage of special cellar door prices in the wine shop, taste our premium wines or choose to spend the night in “Villa Miramar” – a charming and fully-furnished Bed & Breakfast located among our Sauvignon Blanc vines on a hill from where you can see the Pacific coast on a clear day.

Staying at our very popular Bed & Breakfast really makes your wine tourism experience complete. Our previous guests have spoken very highly of the exclusive location and spectacular surroundings of the guesthouse, guaranteeing absolute privacy and peacefulness. Breakfast will be served at the guesthouse, which features 2 double rooms with a maximum occupancy for 4 adults. It´s the perfect getaway for your family or honeymoon plans.

Enjoy a unique experience of a private home for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people, surrounded by the tranquility of our vineyards and their natural environment. Relax in a comfortable hammock while reading a good book and enjoy the sunset with a glass of our finest wines.

In the morning we prepare a home made breakfast. Villa Miramar offers the possibility to explore the vineyard and discover its secrets, meet the family, their workers and the history of the town of Lo Abarca.

The Casa Marín winery in San Antonio valley offers a highly entertaining wine tourism program that includes everything from a tasting session of our premium wines with or without food pairing, vineyard treks to learn more about the unique terroir to working with the Casa Marín team and family. Over the years many wine lovers have come to visit us by arranging a private tour and meeting the Marín family, including the winery’s founder and winemaker, María Luz Marín. Our personal approach is expressed in the wines, made with pure passion.

Because of its terroir of high mineral content soil that was once part of the ocean and cool-climate, the winery produces high quality icon and premium wines of unique and surprising flavors that have won over the palates of the most demanding international experts. Lo Abarca has a micro-climate with low temperatures that can be extreme in the winter and which positively affect the distinct flavors made from pure passion.

Location
The winery and cellar door are just 15 kms. from the coastal town of San Antonio. Address: Camino Lo Abarca s/n. Lo Abarca, Cartagena – V Region.

Directions from Santiago: From Providencia, Vitacura, Las Condes, and La Dehesa, take Costanera Norte. Then, take the Route 5 South exit to the Route 78 (towards San Antonio) exit. Once you go through the Melipilla toll at kilometer 100, take the Malvilla/Casablanca exit (it is the exit after Santo Domingo/Leyda). Continue towards Casablanca until the exit (6 kilometers), to the winery. After passing through the curvy part of the road, you’ll see Casa Marín’s vineyards to your right. Continue along until you reach a yellow wall with the Casa Marín mosaic seal. Turn left and enter the town of Lo Abarca. 100 meters ahead you’ll see the Casa Marín winemaking facility.
