Gourmet: We offer you fresh gastronomic cooking based on our personal understanding of the South of France.

We are playing with two styles:
“Bourgeoise” style which is always attentive to the trends set by Paris and “popular” style wich our admired Christian Coulon calls “La cuisine de l’autoctone” or native cuisine.

Enjoy our Menu Chateau everynight of the week or take the “Bistrot24” and choose a more relaxed dinner.

Garden and wood
Read a book in a gently rocking hammock in the garden, walk through our wood, taking refuge from the heat of the day among the pine trees; some of the simple pleasures to enjoy here. A lovely swimming pool is also available.

Under the approving gaze of St Front, spend some time reading one of the wide selection of guides, books and magazines.

The Drawing Room
Alternatively, lounge on one of the plush sofas in front of a roaring fire in what used to be the Chateau’s dance parlour.

Rooms: The Chateau offers only 5 exclusive double rooms including two suites. Suites at Château La Thuilière are equipped with a king-size bed, bathrobe and 3G connectivity. Each suite has a private bathroom with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Some feature an original 19th-century fireplace and overlook the chateau’s park.

Suite XL: They are exceptionally spacious and airy, between 37 and 42 sq. m. in size, with king size beds (can be twinned) and all have views over the surrounding parkland.

Relax on the sofa in front of the 19th century fireplace,sit at the desk to check your email (with 3G connectivity) or simply enjoy watching the news on the flat screen television.

Whatever your choice, we recommend you to have a relaxing shower with our toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames in London, put on your luxury bathrobe and make your own NESPRESSO… feel yourself at home!.

Suite M: They are 25 sq. m. in size, with a king size bed (can be twinned), original 19th century fireplace, 3G connectivity, and views of the parkland.

The bathroom has super soft slippers, luxury bathrobe and toiletries from Gilchrist & Soames in London, while coffee is provided by NESPRESSO machine and capsules by courtesy of château la thuilière.

Located 40 minutes from Saint Emilion and Pomerol vineyards and 30 minutes from Bergerac vineyards it makes the perfect place to discover one of the best known wines in the world (St Emilion’s: Angelus, Figeac, Beau-Sejour Becot, Clos Fourtet…) and one of the most innovating wines in Bergerac (Tour des Verdots, Tour des Gendres, Monbazillac….).

We organize wine tasting sessions and vineyard visits both in St Emilion area and Bergerac.

Dordogne wine region: This lesser known wine region in France is emerging from the shadows of Bordeaux, its more famous neighbour. It has some treasures but you need to seek them out.
