Colome Winery offers on day visits, with the
possibility of having lunch i the winery and do wine tastings.
Colome Winery Visits
Built in 1831, Colome is the oldest winery still in existence in
Argentina. Enjoy the excellent wines that come in part from the
French pre-phylloxera vines of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon
planted in 1854, currently grown in a Biodynamic.
Today Colome has the highest vineyards in the world located at
an altitude of 2.200-3.111 m above sea level.
Colome One day an unforgettable experience: The Winery
and Visitor Center will unveil the secrets of winemaking. To
know the spirit of the winners Colome wines, taste them just be.
Daily Visits
• Visits can be conducted at 11:00 am. or at 15.00 pm., in the
Visitor Center.
• Enjoy a 23 minute projection on the history of the project
Colome and Hess, in the high-tech cinema.
• Next, you visit the warehouse where the techniques are
explained. for winemaking in height and biodynamic way.
• The visit includes a tasting of three wines at the Wine Bar,
with explanations and suggestions from our sommelier.
• Price per person $ 30.00.
• The length is about an hour and a half.
James Turrell Museum: Museum of James Turrell at Bodega
Colome is the first museum in the world dedicated exclusively to
the work of James Turrell. The building itself, which consists
of 1680 square meters of display, was built just for the artist
and to your specifications, and contains 9 light installations
besides prints and drawings.
Visiting hours: From 14:00 until 18:00 pm.
Open every day.
